Rugby Programme

The chance to train and learn english is very real when immersing yourself with our programme, hundreds of Irish and English Rugby enthusiasts flock to us each summer in the hope of improving their rugby skills. Boys of all nationalities are brought together in a very convivial atmosphere for a wonderful adventure where friendships are made, skills are improved and languages learned. The rugby programme allied to your English tuition and living with the Irish and English boys makes this the perfect location to improve your English.

Your Course Director is Nigel Osborne, assisted by Camp Manager David Nolan.
Nigel Osborne is an IRFU accredited Level 2 Head Coach. Our Rugby Skills Development Programme is based strongly around the IRFU Long-Term Player Development Programme (LTPD)

He is vastly experienced both as a player and as a coach.
He is a fluent French speaker, who has been involved at the top level of
the game as a Player / Coach in Ireland and France for the last 20 years.
He has worked for the last 5 years as Head Coach with Seapoint RFC in the All-Ireland League.
He currently works as the Head Coach for the CBC Monkstown, Senior-Cup Team and as a
Consultant to Stade Francais in the French Top 14 Championship.

Nigel has been running the Rugby and French Programme for 15 years and has a great passion for the game and in particular, the teaching of the skills that are fundamental to a player’s development and enjoyment.

Guest Coaches in the past on the camp have included greats of the game as players and coaches,
Tim Horan, Joe Roff, Brian O’Driscoll, Denis Hickie, Roger Uttley, Steve Aboud, Jerome Thion, Serge Betsen, Mark Lievremont,
Richard Pool Jones, Diego Dominguez, Jason Leonard, Abdel Benazzi, Kelvin Leahy among others.
